LED Technology
LED Technology
The LEDs emit light in a certain part of the visible light
spectrum depending on the material structure of the active layer. In other
words, a single color light is produced and the material used in the active
layer determines the color of the LED light. In high-light colored LEDs,
different materials are used as active layers (GaAs, Gap, GaN, AlInGaP and
InGaN). Producing white light with LEDs is possible in two ways. The first of
these; red, green and blue is to obtain white light using three LED chips in a
case. The second method is to produce white light by stimulating a phosphorus
layer of light produced in the blue LED chip.
They are covered in a variety of structures, mainly radial
shape. They are produced with PIN pedestals for normal printing circuits, SMT
(surface mounting technology) and directly on printed circuit boards.
Benefits of Led Technology
They provide high-efficiency lighting. It can save up to 80%
by 40% compared to existing lighting fixtures. They are long-lasting (with
healthy design and right components, they last up to 100,000 hours). The LED is
up to 10 times longer than other bulbs. Longer LED life reduces waste. LED
lighting appliances can be dimmed infinitely. This means additional savings in
lighting costs. Due to their low power consumption, they are free of solar
energy (solar) circuits and mobile applications. The LED lighting appliances
start to burn instantly when power is supplied, without any warm-up time. It
has Ns (Nanoseconds) reaction times, and these speeds are comparable to
incandescent filament light sources.
LED lighting systems are environmentally friendly. LED does
not contain mercury, argon, neon, sodium, xenon, and lead. They do not carry
UV-IR rays. They do not require maintenance. There is no filament-like material
to break or break inside. They are resistant to shock and vibration. They can
be used both indoor and outdoor. Moisture and water resistance provides a wide
and easy use for designers. The color temperature (CCT) variety is very high.
For example; Different color temperatures are available for the white LED.
3200, 4700, 5400, 6500 Kelvin.
Color back yields are very high. Single or multiple colors
can be used together. Because they are direct light sources, light control to
the target is made more comfortable.
